The selling of custom merchandise today is a $50+ billion dollar business. With few exceptions, most of this business is focused strictly on making profits. Honesty and transparency about the various supply chains through which merchandise travels is hard to find, to the detriment of people and the planet.  Little is known about the working conditions and environmental circumstances surrounding this merchandise, the “stuff” of commerce.

These sweatfree, union, fair trade, buy local, and environmental organizations are resources helping to get out the truth and refining ethical standards. Without the good work they do, Ethix Merch would find it difficult to define the “ethical” part of our tagline.
